HEY!! This year has been a FUCKING roller coaster! I don't exactly know where to start.
Some plans have changed, but not really. I have life goals and plans that are still ongoing, some that might be changing altogether. So I will let you all know how things were supposed to go, and where I am now.
- Make sure my kid finishes high school.
- Sell my house and get out of Texas.
- Get a new job.
- Live happily ever after.
So how did it go?? Well, my kid finished school and did super well!! Scholarships and academic achievements the whole thing! Right as things are lining up, my Mother-in-law passed away unexpectedly. We all have been in a funk pretty much ever since, there was a plan in this move to bring her along with us. We all still want to move, but the house is on the market and sitting. Little showings, no bites, still waiting in Texas to sell and leave. I did get the new job though, remote, super chill.
Big ups, and big downs. Still working through a lot of what has all happened and what to do next. With that, I have been busy traveling, packing, cleaning, and doing all the responsible adult sit that sucks but needs to be done.
I have been picking up my pen more and more this last month and plan to get back to work, creatively.
Resident Evil 2 Collab is on and work is in progress!
I need to get back with the team for the Lovecraft Toons series and get that up and running again.
I know this post is a bit of a downer and hopefully doesn't put too many people off. I really have been struggling to even bring up the topic to the general public. But here it is.
