Hello!!!

Okay, so it seems like 2023 was kind of FUCK'D. I mean, not totally fucked, there were some good parts to it, but it was a weird year. I was unemployed for over six months but received some unemployment benefits from Texas, so it wasn't too horrible. I had a hard time scoring a job, but I did eventually find one that's nice, It's not perfect, but it's okay for now. Some projects got finished, and some did not, but I have been learning a lot about myself and my work ethic when it comes to personal projects.

SO WHAT’S NEW? I want to get to know myself and find out what's important to me. I have taken way more time away from the internet in 2023, and I might be doing the same in 2024. That being said, I still hope to produce and release more animated work. I am in my 7th year of animating, and I feel like there is this huge step that I took in 2023; things are quicker and easier to animate, and everything looks less stiff. I'm happy with how things are going, but I want more of my ideas to see the light of day.

That's it?! Geez!! With all that time, I still managed to fuck off most of 2023.

My goals for 2024 are to define my voice creatively. I have a music video I am about to release with @SroSocial, which is more than halfway finished and will probably be the next major animated project released here. I haven't scrapped Lovecraft Toons, but I did put it on the shelf to gather a little dust. I hope to clean that project off and really do some work to have that made. I have plans for some video games, but I will have to see if that is something I truly want to work on or if it's just a shiny idea that's distracting me from the projects I should be working on.

I hope everyone out there is doing well or is looking forward to 2024 being a better year. I didn't make a mid-year post last year, but if things go well this year, I hope to recap where I am in June or July.
